VoxFit
This policy explains what VoxFit collects, why, and how you can control it. VoxFit is built and operated by an individual developer (Amit Pile), not a company with a data-sales business — the short version is: your training and nutrition data is yours, it's used only to run the app for you, and it's never sold.
Information we collect
- Account information — the email you sign up with, managed through Supabase Authentication.
- Profile & preferences — sport type, goal, and macro targets you set in Settings.
- Voice input — when you use hold-to-talk logging, your device's speech recognition converts speech to text on-device or via your browser/OS. VoxFit does not upload, transmit, or store raw audio recordings — only the resulting text transcript is processed.
- Logged content — workout sessions, exercises, sets/reps/weights, meals, macros, and any mood, energy, or physical-note entries you choose to add.
- Basic diagnostics — standard app crash/performance data needed to keep the app working.
How we use it
Your data is used strictly to operate VoxFit for you: turning your spoken transcripts into structured sets, reps, and macros; generating the AI coach notes and meal suggestions you request; and computing your own history, streaks, and analytics back to you. We don't use your logged data to train models, and we don't build advertising profiles.
AI processing & third parties
VoxFit relies on two infrastructure providers to work:
- Google Gemini API — receives the text transcript of what you said (never raw audio) to extract structured workout or meal data, and receives bounded summary statistics to generate coach notes.
- Supabase — provides authentication, our Postgres database, and the server-side functions that call Gemini. Your Gemini API key never touches your device.
We do not use ad networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics/advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
Data storage & security
All logged data is stored in a Postgres database with Row Level Security enabled on every table — meaning access is enforced at the database layer so your data is only ever queryable by your own authenticated account, not just gated by app-level logic.
Your choices & rights
- Access & export — you can review everything you've logged directly in the app (Journal, Fuel history, Profile).
- Correction — you can edit or delete individual entries at any time before or after saving.
- Deletion — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data. See Delete account & data for the exact steps.
- Marketing email — the launch-notification list is opt-in and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, your account and associated data are permanently removed, except where a short retention window is legally required.
Children's privacy
VoxFit is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law, if higher). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify active users in-app.
